Coffee County Humane Society is committed to ensuring access to its programs and services for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP). While we are a small volunteer-run organization with limited resources, we make reasonable efforts to accommodate the needs of LEP individuals.
We currently provide the following:
– Use of translation tools such as Google Translate for online and written communication.
– Assistance from a volunteer who is a certified ESL teacher that can assist when available.
– Simple, clear language in communications to aid understanding.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide language assistance upon request and will continue to explore additional resources and partnerships to support individuals with limited English proficiency.
